Mission Critical Accelerated Applications using FPGAs

Abstract

This presentation will describe a range of mission critical applications that have been delivered using FPGAs in an OpenPower environment. Applications include graph processing, human identification systems, social media analysis and inline data assurance. The performance and scalability of these applications will demonstrate how FPGAs are now a viable platform for mainstream, mission critical applications.

Roy is responsible for revenue generation, customer support and product development at DRC, the leading FPGA-accelerated applications company. Applications include data analytics, data assurance, human identification and tracking systems, graph processing and social media analysis. Previously at Tandem and Digital Roy ran Product Management delivering over $10B in revenue. Then he was SVP S&M at Wyse ($250M turnaround), and at Be (IPO) and CEO at 2 early stage web-based companies.
